Are u a vegetarian or vegan 🌱? Tout et rien

According to the Catholic Church these animals are classified as “Fish” during lent so they can be eaten without breaking the abstinence rule on red meat.

I don’t, but you better believe it that some people do. Just because they can mainly

Ok…

I like the idea, however I find that some people spread it all too aggressively.
One day my friend went to eat with her vegan friend, and when they were going to choose their food, there was meat. The vegan friend said « With or without corpse? » (She was talking about the meat 💀) I mean, why would you call meat « corpse » that’s just gloomy, people just want to eat meat ;-;
I mean many vegetarians think of meat as corpses and not food, duh.

Really? R u a vegetarian or vegan?
Neither. What I mean is that the idea of helping the environment is very good. But it must be realised properly, and without depriving humans of the essential elements they need to survive. When ways to replace meat with a reliable alternative will show up, I will definitely switch to that. But so far, I'd rather eat meat than deprive myself of the essential proteins.

You don’t NEED meat to live!

That's a little aggressive and unfounded, don't you think?
I might not need meat to live but I need it to stay healthy.

I'm vegitarian and I eat eggs and milk🙂

No, that’s not true… I don’t eat meat since 7 years and I’m very healthy. But u can eat it, but you don’t need it.

It’s cool that you made your choice of sparing animals’ lives. But as a teen girl, it is healthy sometimes to consume protein such as meat. Like it or not, that’s how it works. You being, vegan or vegetarian, I don’t care really, is just a phase, you’ll change your ways, doesn’t matter if you’ve done that “since 7 years”

I’ll never need and I’ll never eat meat!

Maybe you should suggest this friend of a friend than eating a living animal is not very convenient? I'm not quite sure than having a boar in front of you at the restaurant will end up peacefully and without casualty. Also that's cringe and probably a reason why vegans are often badly seen.

I'm an omnivore for six days a week and a pescatarian on Fridays and during Lent. The only problem is I've never found a shop where I can buy culinary Iguana now that Armadillo, Beavers, Capybara, Muskrat and Puffin are so hard to get hold of and, I don't like Aligator.
Puffins are protected in many areas, meaning that killing them is illegal, so I don't know exactly why you would want to eat them and how except for being an offender. Same goes for beavers and probably most of the other species you mentionned... AS for iguana, sma,e I don't know why would you even try to consume it while seemingly living in the UK...
One must really have an issue to eat these ones just to fit a religious rule and not going for fish instead or skipping meat for a day once in a while because I'm not even sure it would be nice to eat or sane to import iguana.

You don’t NEED meat to live!
You do. Many vegans actually show health problems because it's a very annoying diet to deal with that recquire to be quite strict and take supplements. Many of them have anemia and various defficiencies leading to various issues or a lack of proteins since the vegan alternative are not as qualitative as the ones in meat. You said that you are healthy, but firstly : you are still young and problems can occur later - your parents may be well aware of the problem and monitor your diet nicely or with the help of a doctor/specialist - you might be the exception - you may be not aware of the health issues you have, yet.
I can say that you don't need vegetables too and claim that I am healthy as well.

It’s cool that you made your choice of sparing animals’ lives.
It depends. It might "spare animals' lives" but it could actually be worse for both animal and climate. Pasture from ethic cattles are actually a whole part of an ecosystem that would disappear without them, meaning that the animals living there would disappear from those places if not for cows. In my palce, I wouldn't have any rabbits without them.
Hunting in some conditions can also hhelp to sustain forests or other places by replacing large predators that have been eradicated in the past (which is typically the case of western europe) and meat could be consumed by people. In France, the meat is simply left which is a shame, but in Norway, t he meat is then sold. Those animals were free and got a quick death usually, so I don't see any ethical problem. Same for cows, if not from industrial farms, they have enough space to live, and are killed quickly according to laws normally, so again not much problem while providing some benefits.

Then for sure, if you eat only industrial meat every day and compare it to veganism, then veganism would be better, but between a vegan who eats industrial soy from 9000 km and a meat eater who eats local, the vegan probably contribute way more to climate change and kill way more animals than the meat eater.

Some very good points right there.
