Do you know any words in your language that has dissappeard ? Coutumes et styles de vie

"Paa'chaal" meant something like shopping center in past .

Now we use "baazaar" or the same shopping mall .

"Tasdigh" (تصدیق) meant certificate.

Now we use "gavahiname"

Tasdigh in word means something that is proved . But we just use that in important letters.

"Tonok" (تنک) meant "little/less"

Its dissappeared....

Now we use "koochak/kam"

"Tiyaart" used to mean theater, i think it was like that because of french people in iran , and we had many french/persian words then .

Now we use a silly version of that "ta'atr" ...

I really like this word:

"Tah-kiseh" was used for Financial ability, in word it means : the end of the bag , and it completely makes sense🤭🙂

We use a hard word now : "sarmaye" or "tavanayie mali" ,

"Sarmaye" means the first of money !!! As you see it is compared to "tah-kiseh"

"Charb" meant (means🙂) better,bigger, winner

We dont use it much as that meaning....

Now "charb" means fat foods🤭

„Backfisch“ which means Teenage-girl in the years 1880 til 1960.

The word (الإِهلاس ) (Alehlas), which means trying to hide laughter, but its not used anymore

The word (الإِهلاس ) (Alehlas), which means trying to hide laughter, but its not used anymore
