Any tips for trip to Ireland? Coutumes et styles de vie

In april I’m going to Ireland. Does anyone have any tips for beautiful and fun places to visit? We will be staying in the area of limerick, but we are okay to drive quite a distance to visit things.

I don't know if I'm too late with this. There're a few spots in west Clare worth looking at. There's the Burren, Cliffs of Moher and a couple of small places on the Atlantic coast. Ballyvaughan, Doolin and Lahinch.
Galway is a nice city. Personally I prefer it to Limerick.
